The Role

Our company is seeking a Property Information Collector in Vancouver to assist our Insurance Appraiser team in site inspections and preparing reports. An educational background in business, commerce, construction, architectural or building sciences is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be an organized, dynamic individual with a strong attention to detail. We value people who are fun to work with and have a positive impact on the team. The work is diverse, challenging and rewarding and allows you to be hands-on and integral to the growth of the company as we expand our operations across Canada. Training will be provided.

This is a part-time 6-month contract position with a possibility of extension for a candidate based in Vancouver, BC. For this position, the remuneration will be dependent upon work performed per file and the number of jobs, so it will vary month-to-month. The ideal candidate must be flexible, must be able to perform assigned jobs/projects on a short notice, and must be able to work remotely from home and in Normac's head office when required. This role requires the use of the candidate's personal vehicle to drive to site inspections; these inspections will be primarily located in the Lower Mainland, however, there may be a requirement to conduct site inspections across British Columbia so the candidate must be willing to drive longer distances outside of the Lower Mainland if needed.
